Was craving fish and chips. Super friendly service and food was great too. Fish was a good size but wish I ordered two pieces.

Delicious and juicy burger. The servings are huge. It will really fill you up. The fish and chips is just okay. Fish tasted like it was raw and not cooked so I did not really enjoy it that much. One piece of fish is also huge that you’ll enjoy it and be filled. Overall, I think everything is great from the service, to the friendly atmosphere and restaurant vibe. Worth visiting if you’re in the Haliburton area.

Absolutely delicious food! We ordered the steak quesadillas and broccoli bites for appy’s and they were both yummy. And for our main two of us got the spicy Chicken burger and the chicken waffle sandwich. Everything was amazing! Highly recommend.

Really cute spot with patio, good vibes and atmosphere, and quick and friendly staff. The food was greatly portioned, I had the roasted eggplant vegetarian sandwich with fries and a blueberry cheesecake and blueb creme brulee for dessert (which was all to die for!!)...Highly recommend for a delicious meal, they have lots of menu options and fantastic house made desserts.

The Duck Pasta was the best dish I’ve had all year! Incredibly delicious and I would make a special trip just to eat it again, I’d probably order two. Sorry, no photo of the dish!

Let me tell you. I suggested going here for dinner one night. My wife said she heard bad reviews about it so it got shelved. Another day I said lets try it for ourselves. And pleasantly surprised. Food was excellent, fresh, hot and portions were great. We are happy to have tried and found this place. It was busy and the staff knew what they're were doing.If you want a local home cooked feel don't overlook this place. We'll be back for sure. Many things on the menu we want to try.Please keep up the amazing service and quality. Its lacking in the food industry right now.

Stopped in for our first time. We ordered the meat loaf dinner special and were litterly blown away with the meal delivered by our waitress Christine. Huge portions of bacon wrapped meat loaf, mashed potatoes, gravy and fried onion, fresh whole vegetables, carrots, beets, broccoli. My friend could only finish one of the three huge portions of meat loaf on her plate. So tasty and hot!!! A meal we will remember. Will be our go to spot for meals coming into town from our Wilberforce cottage in the future. We asked Christine about their homemade tartar sauce for fish and chips. She brought us out a sampler to try!!!

If you're like me, and you're not, you probably love a good reuben sandwich. The problem is that nobody knows how to make one anymore. It's always on the wrong bread or missing the sauerkraut or mustard. That is until last night when I ordered a reuben from Maple Ave. It was delicious! The best I've had in ten years! Moreover, my family were all so pleased with our food that we had to try the desserts. I loved the pumpkin pie bread pudding. Amazing! Yes, the ambiance reflects all the charm of your local legion but so what! It's cottage country! Just a delightful experience all around. Can't wait to try breakfast there!
